Terms of service

These are the rules for using 37 Days. By using the site, and in particular by signing in, you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use it.

1. What this site is

37 Days lists Minecraft: Java Edition usernames that are about to become available, estimates when, tells you whether a name is taken, and can notify you about names you follow. It is run by an individual based in Spain. It is not an official Minecraft service and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB.

2. Estimates, not promises

The times and windows shown are estimates made from our own observations. A name may drop earlier or later, be taken back by its owner, be blocked by Mojang or be claimed by someone else. Nothing here guarantees that you will get a name. The site is provided as it is, without any warranty, and may be changed, interrupted or closed at any time.

3. Signing in

Following names requires signing in with your Minecraft account through Microsoft. We never see your password. The account must be yours, and you must be old enough to hold it under Microsoft's rules. You are responsible for what is done with your account on this site.

4. What we do with your sign-in

We keep the sign-in Microsoft gives us for your account (a refresh token), encrypted, and use it only to ask Mojang whether names are available:

• The names you follow, around the time each one is expected to drop.
• Help 37 Days: unless you turn it off on the Watch page, also the names on our list of drops, when your session is not needed for your own names. In return you can follow more names.

In both cases these are automated requests made as your account, at most two a minute, and never while you would need them for a name of your own. We never change your username, your skin or anything else in your account, and your account is never used to claim a name. Automated requests carry a risk for the account that makes them, including limits imposed by Mojang; by signing in you accept that risk, and you can stop it at any time by turning Help off or deleting your account.

5. Notices

If you ask for them, we send you messages about the names you follow on Discord or by e-mail. They may arrive late or not at all, and you should not rely on them alone.

6. What you may not do

• Collect the list of drops or the answers of the search with a program, or get around the measures that prevent it.
• Overload the site, attack it or try to reach data that is not yours.
• Sign in with an account that is not yours, or use the site to harass anyone.
• Resell or republish the site's data without our permission.

We may limit or close the account of anyone who does.

7. Your account with Mojang and Microsoft

Your Minecraft account is governed by the terms of Mojang and Microsoft, which this site does not change. Complying with them is your responsibility.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for names you did not get, for wrong or late times or notices, for interruptions of the site, or for measures Mojang or Microsoft take regarding your account. Nothing here limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

9. Ending it

You can stop using the site at any time. Delete my account on the Watch page removes your names, your sign-in and where we write to you; you can also withdraw our access from your Microsoft account. We may end or suspend the service, or an account that breaks these terms, at any time.

10. Changes and law

We may change these terms; the date at the top says when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means accepting them. They are governed by the law of Spain, without taking away the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in.
